“Education! $46.oo per unit is way too much for us to get a higher education. There used to be a day when it was $11 per unit. Now it is just too much. I paid my own way but now I am going to have to take out a loan.”
Theo Parker
Business/Nursing
“More funding for our community colleges by raising the percentage of funding that comes out of our taxes for schooling. Education is very important and it’s not always easy to afford higher education.”
Oscar Gonzales
Economics
“The issue on gun control. I would like to see some type of ban put on them and some sort of regulations put into use. Guns don’t kill people. People kill people.”
Larry Allen
Business Administration
“I would start a petition to support our youth with more field trips at K-12 schools. More outings will give them a reason to want to come to school and expose them to different things outside of their normal habitat.”
Denise Wooley
Pre-Law
“I think that there should be more programs set up to help the families and people suffering from mental health issues.”
Christina Ramirez
Communications
“I would start a petition to legalize weed. It makes everybody’s life easier and it releases stress and temporarily relieves pain due to certain illnesses.”
John Rodriguez
Psychology
