The Tony Award-winning San Francisco Mine Troupe is set to hit the Laney Theater stage for a free showing of their latest production, "Red State." Director Michael Gene Sullivan's political, musical comedy centers on the small town of Bluebird, Kans., where the crucial, tie-breaking votes for the presidential election have yet to be sent in.

Laney's June Steingart Gallery has allied with Berkeley City College's Multimedia Arts Department to produce "{Prints Personified}," a student and faculty print show.
The exhibit features colorful, comically droll yet politically charged arrangements in contrast with more ominous black and white photographic pieces.
