The four water fountains on the second level of G Building appear to have water pressure problems, meaning that students and staffers must go elsewhere to slake their thirst. Two are located near the Math lab (G-201) and the other two are next to the women's bathroom near the computer lab classrooms.
Day 49: A day after the last Tower issue was published, Sustainable Peralta organizer Jack Lin contacted the Tower and informed us that he proposed the construction of the water bottle-filling stations to the Department of General Services at a Sustainable Peralta meeting.
As everyone knows, Laney College is a smoke-free campus. However, this has not stopped some students from smoking on school property. Cigarette butts can be seen all over the floor around school, mainly around all the staircases of the G-Building.
