Un-changed foregin policy

Senator Barack Obama calls for the violation of another country's sovereignty during the second presidential debate.

On the evening of October 7th, Obama tried to make his policy on Pakistan clear by saying, "Nobody called for the invasion of Pakistan. Senator McCain continues to repeat this. What I said was the same thing that the audience here today heard me say, which is, if Pakistan is unable or unwilling to hunt down bin Laden and take him out, then we should."

Obama's strategy is to kill high-profile terrorists in Pakistan, whether the country allows it or not. He insists that violating the sovereignty of Pakistan is not an invasion.

His preceding statement about his policy on Pakistan during the first presidential debate was, "Nobody talked about attacking Pakistan. Here's what I said, and if John wants to disagree with this, he can let me know, that if the United States has al Qaeda, bin Laden, top-level lieutenants in our sights, and Pakistan is unable or unwilling to act, then we should take them out. Now, I think that's the right strategy. I think that's the right policy."

Senator Obama is not the first politician to believe that invading a sovereign country is the right strategy or policy.

Iraq was invaded for the purpose of finding weapons of mass destruction, but none were found. Afghanistan was invaded to hunt down bin Laden, and he hasn't been found either.

Obama wants to carry on the tradition of impulsively invading Islamic countries.

The only effective way to destroy terrorism is by destroying the ideology of terror, and this can be achieved by teaching the people that the religion of Islam condemns all acts of terrorism. America can help destroy the ideology of terror by funding the educational sectors in Islamic countries in which the terrorists are hiding.

If America helps with destroying the ideology of terror, then the people in the Islamic countries will want to identify the terrorists that are hiding in their lands and punish them.

Invading another country will only lead to: more lives lost, more anti-American feelings throughout the world, more chaos, and more dept.
